BCD: Cressi 'Line'

BCDThe Cressi Line BCD is a great all-round BC for every level of diving. The Line comes with two fine, roomy zip-up pockets, where even bulky accessories can be stowed. The Line bag is made from two materials: 420-denier nylon inner and 500-denier Cordura outer to make it lightweight and strong at the same time. The rigid, light and strong backpack comes with a rear backing plate, double carry handle and handy padded backpack cover. It's light weight and the fact that it comes complete with accessories makes it an excellent BC for travelers.

Technical features

Regulator: Cressi XS2

Regulator

First stage

The XS2 comes with the traditional Cressi AC2 piston model. This is a non-balanced first stage with such high performance that it can be compared to lots of excellent balanced models.

The small number of components, the low weight and the excellent materials make it the strongest Cressi first stage, and the most steadfast to maltreatment, a real “working horse” amongst regulators.

An ingenious bush system allows easy and rapid external regulation of the intermediate pressure.

It comes in three versions: INT, DIN 200 bar and DIN 300 bar. INT comes as standard with all packages unless otherwise requested.

Second stage

The body of the 2nd stage is traditionally sized, made from hi-tech polymers. It has a lateral valve downstream system with adjustable orifice. it is simple and extremely reliable.

A flow of pilot air is channeled to the mouthpiece by injection, enhancing the performance. The 2nd stage comes with a a flow deviator that acts on the Venturi effect, with dive/pre-dive function.

Constantly reviewed over the years, this regulator has lots of admirers in the world due to the fact that it is extremely simple and strong, its features make it easy to use and it has low-cost maintenance. Performance levels are high, and it is suitable for any kind of dive.

Technical features

Octopus: Cressi XS

Octo

The Octopus XS2 is the same as the second stage of the XS2 model, the only difference being the yellow front cover.

Technical features

Gauge Cressi Sub 3 Mini 3 Gauge Console with Compass

Console

This small and compact 3 gauge console combines a marine brass constructed SPG and depth gauge, with an easy to read and shock resistant oil filled compass on the back. The small size makes it easy to streamline, creates less drag and is easy to transport.

Computer: Cressi Archimede 2

ComputerThe latest version of the Archimede computer has been aesthetically redesigned and comes complete with new and sophisticated software that can manage two different Nitrox mixes. These can be selected at any time of the actual dive. The already excellent features of Archimede have been considerably improved both for scuba divers and for free divers who have the new Gauge function as an indispensable instrument that can monitor all their dives in detail.

Technical specification

Wetsuit: Cressi Lui/Lei 2.5mm

LUI

This wetsuit is for diving in warm seas and for snorkeling. It is made with double lined neoprene (2.5 mm thick). It has a waterproof zip for ease of wearing/taking off its wrist, ankle and neck seals are watertight (not waterproof). Lui for males, Lei for females, each is shaped for a better fit.

Fins: Cressi Frog & 5mm booties

A classic fin in the extensive range of Cressi fins, the Frog has been one of the world’s best selling fins for years. The unique combination of materials results in a powerful and comfortable fin.

This fin comes with adjustable straps and you wear them with booties. They are much better suited to serious divers than full foot fins. Comes in Blue or Black.

Your booties are Cressi high cut 5mm booties. They are hard wearing and protect your feet from rubbing of the fin straps on your heels.

Mask and Snorkel

Mask: Medusa, Onda or Perla
Snorkel: Gringo or Aropec

There are usually other masks and snorkels to choose from on site.

Weight belt

Your weight belt buckle is made of stainless steel which is much more effective than plastic buckles. Your weight belt will be 55 inches long which is standard size, but they come in longer lengths if you have larger than average waist size. We do not provide weights as they are heavy to carry when you leave and in most place you will just use the weights provided by the dive shop.

Accessories

  • Knife - stainless steel BCD knife
  • Torch - BCD pocket light
  • Slate - flat slate with pencil
  • Whistle
